KCAW shortlisted at Chelsea Awards on 8th October 2019

We are proud to announce that KCAW was one of the three shortlisted organisations in the Community Collaboration category at the inaugural Chelsea Awards on 8 October at the Saatchi Gallery.

There were seven Award categories and nominations had been pouring in for the past few months. The judges were an esteemed mix of Chelsea stakeholders: Hugh Seaborn, CEO of Cadogan; fragrance brand founder Jo Malone; Will Pascall, the new Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; John Simpson CBE, the BBC broadcaster and chair of The Chelsea Society; Reverend David Reindorp of the Chelsea Old Church; BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker, artist and local councillor Alison Jackson and Susan Dolton of the K&C Foundation.

The Community Collaboration Award winner was the charity Glass Door, with Kensington + Chelsea Art Weekend and the Ambassadors of Sloane Street shortlisted.

The event was organised by Cadogan and Sloane Square Magazine, with headline sponsors (and local businesses) Knight Frank and INEOS, nearly 400 people came together to celebrate the Chelsea community.
